stomped

Tunnel trail? Stomped.

I had a hand in that
I make it 5 straight miles of mostly climbing, up Tunnel+West Ridge and back down Otero+Tunnel, back to truck.  10 miles round trip.

West Ridge trail
Up some of the more grueling, bouldery, babyhead-littered tread Otero has to offer.  Then back down some of that ripping, flowy singletrack in Otero Canyon.

Otero Canyon
Railing Otero

Only to face that crushing half-mile climb back out of Otero and into Tunnel Canyon, to rip it all over again.

contemplating that long climb back up Tunnero

The girl can bring it~

  3. West Ridge (Rambo) is a challenging trail and the climb up Tunnel is a great warmup for the steep chunk ahead. Love to see kids out enjoying that stuff. The smile says it all!!

    1. proud to report both kids have really taken ownership of their riding this season, mountain bike club + race team have been instrumental in that growth. Their skills, stamina, preparedness and enthusiasm! have all shot thru the roof.

    1. Heya Sanders! What are the good things in life? Health, home, a fly rod or two, maybe a mountain bike. Places to play. Most importantly- loved ones to share those with. It's gonna be a great summer....
