So what's a guy to do when his alma mater gets whacked on the gridiron to start the season?
Well you can ride.
Then ride some more.
If that doesn't work- ride some more. Yeah, that should do it.
Special thx to the Mathers & Matlins for facilitating the healing process! :-]
I feel your pain brother. Did not get much better last weekend either. Two known cures: Ride on! and Fish on!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya EHR. I'm over it. Mostly. Need to savor each win- there's sure to be a bitter loss or two yet to come. Buut as the wise man said- that's why they made singletrack and rivers. ;-) thx for checking in, stop back any time! Mike
DeleteHey...at least you're not a Minnesota fan.
ReplyDeleteFunny- I think the entire B1G fan base is sayin something similar this season. I have just the thing for what ails me- can u say cupcake? Yum! ;-)
DeleteOh man Mike, we were on opposite ends that day. My alma mater really did Roll Tide Roll that day. :-)
ReplyDeleteBut cheer up, there are PSU alums out there. And my poor Husker buddy flew out to Pasadena to see that UCLA fiasco. Michigan will be back....just send a truck load of money to Les and remind him of the old Bear Bryant line ...."Mama called, and when Mama calls, then you just have to come running."

Just as the sting starts to fade, I knew I shoulda locked the comments on this post! ;-) It's becoming clear Alabama will steamroll its way into the NC, look out. Also clear UM remains a work in progress, sigh - best to enjoy every Saturday as you just don't know how it will turn out.
