real life

As many of you might have guessed, I'm up to my eyeballs juggling real life responsibilities as they say.  Taking a few days off to work over the kitchen now has me working the weekend in valiant if somewhat vain attempt to catch up at the office.  In the meantime, we're still shopping and ordering materials for the kitchen project.  Oh and yeah, kids basketball and soccer wait for no man.

Adding insult to injury, I'm now heading into partial redesign on one project at work + deadline on another- well you get the drift.

So yeah, that leaves little time for chasing fins or, ye-gads!, take the ole Yeti for a spin.  Good thing I saw this coming, put her into the shop for a coupla upgrades:

Now I can ditch that silly bell, I'm thinking those trail runners will hear me now, ya think?

cutthroat frame of mind

well, yeah, I guess that's meant as a double entendre.

With the internets aflame RE: coaching changes, it's nice to be reminded of those things a little more grounded in this good earth.

happy new year

Let the Yeti take me out to exercise exorcise some demons after suffering thru yet another beatdown for my beloved Wolverines.  Sigh.

C'mon back home Jim, your team needs you.

On the flipside- bluebird skies, crisp temps, crusty tread made for a great way to welcome in the new year.

Lungs scorched, legs duly spent, endorphins flood- it's gonna be a good great year!

Happy New Year everyone, cya on the trail!
